Welcome to Bengt Arvidsson Yacht-Consult AB.
Always impartial inspection.

What does it mean to be an authorized BBR surveyor?
This means that you has been trusted to make the admission due to the professional knowledge that the board of BBR considers to have.
Once you have done the test and managed to answer correctly at least 70% of the questions, you have to go as an apprentice with an experienced surveyor for up to 10 times. Then you have to do two test inspections, which are examined by the supervisor/mentor. If you get approved in these admission you will be authorized in BBR. As a member of the BBR, you have a liability insurance that gives the clients extra security.
Why should one inspect a boat when buying?
When buying boats, there is usually a lot of money involved. Then it is a certainty to have inspected the boat before buying to avoid unpleasant surprises that can cost a lot of money afterwards.
Every inspection means that the client receives a protocol with about 100 points that are controlled. When it adds something, photos are included in the protocol.
